August 20, 200719 yr NOOOOOOOOOO! Seriously, you guys had me thinking he had snapped his body in half or something when I saw that he was still on the board.
August 20, 200719 yr See you guys in a couple of weeks...let's try to get back to my pick by Friday....the first Friday of September...
August 20, 200719 yr NOOOOOOOOOO! Seriously, you guys had me thinking he had snapped his body in half or something when I saw that he was still on the board. Guess you'll have to find one of the other 25 WR's who will get 500 yards and 5-6 TD's.
August 20, 200719 yr Yeah, I know he's not top tier or anything, but he's got the potential to be pretty solid.
August 20, 200719 yr Yeah, I know he's not top tier or anything, but he's got the potential to be pretty solid. I thought about him, but he wasn't a guy I wanted at this spot. He does have a nice upside though...I wouldn't be shocked if that turned out to be a steal for the 13th round. And I'll be saying, "Man, I knew I should have taken a chance on that guy!" :irked:
August 20, 200719 yr Welker's a good pick. There's one other WR I was considering along with Marshall and Welker.

August 20, 200719 yr Welker's a good pick. There's one other WR I was considering along with Marshall and Welker. I've actually got several on my list, which is one reason why I considered not taking Welker at all. I'm sure at least one or two of them will still be there next time around...almost sure anyway. However, the more I thought about Welker, the more I think he'll be a solid guy in the Patriot offense. He's a nice fit with their offense and with Stallworth and Moss on the outside, he should get a lot of receptions in the slot. Not great, but he should be steady and a decent guy to plug in if you have to play him.
