August 7, 200719 yr Heaven is for all eternity. Two bottles won't last you a month. 2 Kings 4:1-7 Hearsay's whiskey bottles might be like the widow's oil...as long as he has a vessel to fill up, there will be something to fill it...
August 7, 200719 yr Don't worry, we'll have the whiskey, the wine, the beer, the best fried fish, and the entertainment over in our God's little acre! ...and the bingo cards.
August 7, 200719 yr Am I the only one that doesn't get the intent of the original post? No, there are at least two of us.
August 7, 200719 yr ^It seems to be sarcastic to me, but I could be wrong. It might actually be a serious question.
August 7, 200719 yr Heaven is for all eternity. Two bottles won't last you a month. I figured Jesus would be there to help turn the water into corn spirits. As long as the water had been run through limestone first, and . . .
August 7, 200719 yr ...and the bingo cards. I considered that part of the entertainment option! There will be cake wheels, quilt raffles, dances, and most importantly, GOOD QUALITY FOOTBALL!
August 7, 200719 yr I considered that part of the entertainment option! There will be cake wheels, quilt raffles, dances, and most importantly, GOOD QUALITY FOOTBALL! If you start telling me that Heaven's gridiron team wears green and white, I'm outta here! Purple and gold are the colors worn by Kings!
August 7, 200719 yr If you start telling me that Heaven's gridiron team wears green and white, I'm outta here! Purple and gold are the colors worn by Kings! Sorry....the uniform color is dictated by the number of players from Kentucky State Championship teams. Right now, it looks like green and white is the color.
August 7, 200719 yr IMO, this entire thread topic is inflammatory and disrespectful to the folks referred to(Baptists and Catholics)
August 7, 200719 yr IMO, this entire thread topic is inflammatory and disrespectful to the folks referred to(Baptists and Catholics) Hey...we Catholics take it in stride, as all idol worshiping papists should!
August 7, 200719 yr Hey...we Catholics take it in stride, as all idol worshiping papists should! Just looking for a little respect from the congregation, questioning another's place or housing arrangements in heaven or whether they will have a place is disrespect of another religion, period. Just stating my opinion that I don't believe it is something to be joked about or taken lightly. Sorry, just my opinion.
August 7, 200719 yr Just looking for a little respect from the congregation, questioning another's place or housing arrangements in heaven or whether they will have a place is disrespect of another religion, period. Just stating my opinion that I don't believe it is something to be joked about or taken lightly. Sorry, just my opinion. I understand. And I'm sorry if I offended you. I will say, though, that I could spend my days being upset at perceived disrespect, or laugh it off and play along. I'm confident in my faith, and I believe in what my Church teaches. So, I don't mind taking a little ribbing. I've not made any disrespectful remarks about any other religion. I've merely made jokes about what others already perceive of Catholicism.
August 7, 200719 yr Fan, I see what you are saying.....BUT these people don't mean any disrespect at all. Jesus gave us a sense of Humor and he knows our true hearts 1st Samual 16:7. To have a little fun on here when we face the daily struggles of life and the heart ache of situations...its all in fun. Now, after saying that. I just hope my buddy Marie Osmond is there. I have had a thing for her since the late 70s. (Momma says "I'm not worried about Marie").
