University of North Carolina message board

UK says they are stacked with talent

--"Why should any UNC fan be worried about Kentucky? We will handle them again this year with no problem. They have no inside presence, unless Patterson turns out to be a real beast. And even if he is, they have no other big men of note. I don't see a front line of Patterson and the likes of Jared Carter and Perry Stevenson doing much with Hansbrough, Thompson, and Stepheson. In fact we outclass them at every position on the floor."

--"UK is "stacked" with backcourt talent, but very thin downlow. In fact, I'd expect a lot of Nova-esque 4-guards lineups. Gillispie's teams get after you on defense. If he can make A&M a Top 10 team, can't imagine he won't do it at Kentucky. Not sure about this year, but I'm certainly looking forward to watching them. Curious how much Bradley and Crawford play under the new regime."

--"(no disrespect to the guys in Kentucky. I've always admired your bourbon and I've forgiven you for your racist sports history. But, why are you relevant today?)”

--A lot of talent and underrated.About 8 or 9 of those guys, pretty much everybody in the country wanted.

Legion,Patterson,Meeks,Bradley,Stevenson,Jasper,Crawford, almost everybody would have taken an early commit from.

Stewart was well-recruited.

Even Carter, who has been injured almost all the time was wanted by a lot of people.

That's a lot of talent.

--Kentucky's fans are the most "out there" of any fanbase I've come across. Every year before the season there are several "This is the year for a NC!!!" threads on their board. Every single time they get a decent recruit they run to all the other school's boards that were recruiting the kid and claim that they have now rightfully ascended to their place at the top of the college basketball world.....blah, blah, blah.

Billy G. is a great coach. He'll turn it around, but I hate that it's going to be for that school.

He isn't going to turn it around this season. No PG play, Crawford is about as over rated a player as they come, and when your best post player is a frosh (P Pat) you're usually in for a long season. Here's hoping UK gets to 20 wins. Good luck kings of college bball!!!

Four straight road games to close the season. That is almost unheard of in conference play. You may see two in a row on the road, rarely, three, but never four.

That can't be right.

Guys you know it's not in order right??? Since when does a school play a team back to back 4 times????

This year... :D

I honestly just looked at the games that labs referenced and the ones right before that.

I feel kind of dumb now.
