August 4, 200719 yr Hopefully people arent going to expect him to be mr stud from day 1. He's going to need some time before he is able to step in and play to his potential. My huskers landed the #1 Juco DB's in the 05 and 06 recruiting classes and the first one took til almost the bowl game before he started to show flashes of what he is capable of doing and the other is still adjusting to D1 football and struggled last year and he was thrown to the wolves basically when he got there. Both were 5 star guys just like Woodny and just like them, Im sure he is going to need that learning curve also. So if he doesnt shine right away dont right him off he will come around.
August 5, 200719 yr Looking forward to seeing Woodny, he should be another great addition to the secondary. He had a great 1st practice yesterday and I expect he will compete for playing time right off the bat. He could get some valuable experience in the first 2 games.
