July 27, 200719 yr Back on subject........18 DUIs, what is the record number a person can get in a life time?
July 27, 200719 yr Not sure, but I don't think ole W has driven a car off Chappaquiddick Bridge and killed someone either. :thumb: :thumb:

I was making a joke. Nothing more, nothing less:rolleyes: - If it struck a nerve with you I can't help that.............Geez! :irked: I have heard persons from both parties make fun of T.K., that is nothing new. I can promise you I was not trying to make a statement of any kind. Had I wanted to make a political statement about it I would had went to the proper forum for that. Should you want to make a political issue out of it rather than a joke then I might suggest that you do the same. I just wanted to post on your accusation and now I have so I will leave it at that.
July 27, 200719 yr That's a disgrace. I know ALOT of people who have gotten DUI's. Most learn from them and grow up and take responsibility for their actions. I say it happenning once isn't acceptable, but does make sense that people make mistakes. More than one though and you should have a year of prison, 2=2 years,3-3 years. And so on, I think they'd figure it out then.

It doesn't take a rocket scientest to figure out that if you are drinking to stay away from behind the wheel. Really they could be charged wit attempted murder - imo that is excatly what they are doing when the get out on the roads.

I've done it myself, didn't get a DUI, didn't hurt anyone(thank god), heck my car only lost a mirror; that was enough, and definitely realized anything over a drink or two with dinner and it's just not worth it. In fact it's down right dumb. My friends have said sense last summer I've become a wimp for not going out on Friday's, I just think I got lucky and realized under different circumstances I could be dealing with alot of regret right now. I'll go over to friends houses, but I don't EVER drink and drive anymore. It just isn't worth it, especially when you consider the possibilities,..... "Wow that night was crazy, I had a blast, too bad I chose to drive home drunk and killed another family on the way home", ummm no thanks.
