MECC games Oregon Trail

Featured Replies

One of my best memories from elementary school. I looked this up about 6 months ago on the web, and this game has came a long way I think it's up to Oregon Trail 7.

I don't think I ever beat that game.

If it wasn't dysentery, it was the oxen dying, if it wasn't that, it was scarce food, etc. I think the furthest I got was like Plymoth Rock or something.

I beat it a couple of times...but the best was dying and then making fun of your friends on the tombstones, lol.

I think it's funny how I try to ford the river that is 3 feet deep, and 2 oxen and a member of my party drown.

Oregon Trail on the floppy disk...fun times...I always use to get like cholera or something...lol

Computer class was always a tense battle to see who could make it the furthest on the trail. Lol. Good Times.

It still on this machine as a shortcut... its a classic!

The boys still have the cd. Just got a new hard drive and the youngest re-installed the game. :thumb:

It must have been a newer version then. The one I played was on the big ol' floppies, back when they still were floppy disks.
