July 16, 200719 yr I feel certain the clock will be moved up soon. We can't go at this pace on what I would call the easy picks and expect to finish. I wasn't surprised that it was slow on the weekend...I know I just don't get online as much, nor do I have the chance to on weekends. But, I figured the pace would change drastically when Monday rolled around. In any case, I won't have to worry about missing a pick for a few days...it'll be what, #31 before I go again. That's the advantage of picking early or late I think...you can get your picks out of the way quick and not have to worry about checking it for a little bit.
July 16, 200719 yr I do have a question...in keeper leagues...when you decide to keep a player, do you forfeit your draft pick from the round you picked him in? Example: I have Larry Johnson and say I also get Adrian Peterson in round 5...I decide to keep them both. In next year's draft, I draw the 7th pick...do I forfeith my 7th pick for keeping LJ, and my corresponding 5th round pick for keeping Peterson? I was just wondering how that keeper stuff worked. I've never played in a keeper league.

In other words, if you don't keep any players, you get to pick before those that do keep players.

July 16, 200719 yr 3 days in and we're not even halfway through the first round. See this is why I said to get the ball rollin for people who said gah the season doesn't even start till september. It takes quite a while to get a draft finished and we gotta watch out for things like this. But I'd say HT will pick before the night is over and hopefully strike-3 is ready to make a pick also.

But then again I think it's easier to pick players when you have a draft list to go by and other odds and ends.
