BGP Expansion League – Draft Order and First Round

We (Guru, myself, and a panel of unnamed members) have decided on the 16 members of the new BGP Expansion League. The decisions were made based on who we thought would be the best members for the league in both knowledge and activity. We also took into consideration the actions and behaviors of the members on the board.

 

Any of the applicants that did not make the list of 16 will be given first consideration when a spot opens in the league, either by someone leaving or by expansion.

 

New Rules:

 

Any member that is not active with their team for three straight weeks will forfeit the team and a new owner will be assigned. This is done to keep an owner from setting a lineup and forgetting about it. A lineup must be submitted each week, even if you intend to start the same players as the week before.

 

Any owner taking over a team in midseason will be guaranteed to return the following season even if the team finishes in last place of their division. The new owner will not be held responsible for the previous owners draft or team mismanagement.

 

If one of the original 12 founding members of the Godot’s BGP league finishes in last place of their division they will be moved to the Expansion Conference to take over one of the vacated teams. If that owner then finishes in last place of their division they will have to sit out a year.

Each of you will receive a PM with directions for setting the draft order. As soon as the draft is set, the draft will start with a 24 hour clock.

I wouldn't say sad...just missed a great opportunity due to ignorance. It's frustrating. I could have had LT. He alone would probably have guaranteed me to qualify high enough to stay in the league another year.

Seriously, though...what are the odds of rolling a 9 first, being dumb enough to make it an invalid roll, and then getting lucky enough to roll a 27 the second time...the fantasy gods must have had sympathy for my plight.
