Drafting Rules

 

The draft will run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until it is complete.

 

Each member/owner will have 24 hours to complete a pick.

 

All picks will be posted here.

 

When a pick is made, the next owner is On The Clock (OTC)

 

If an owner’s time expires, the next owner is automatically on the clock.

 

If you miss your pick, you can come in and make it at any time. You will not be able to take a player that was drafted after you time expires (that should go without said, but you will be surprised).

 

If the draft isn’t progressing at a pace to complete before the first NFL game on the 6th of September, the time clock to make a pick will start dropping, first to 12 hours, then to 8, and lower if necessary. Currently you need to make 4.2 draft picks a day to complete before the 6th of September.

It has been my experience in other on-line drafts, that the first four rounds go by very fast, then the rounds slow down as the picks become harder to make. With the first game not taking place until Monday September 10th (that pits the Bengals vs. the Ravens), I think we have a lot of time left to draft....:thumb:

The first game is Thursday September the 6th New Orleans at Indianapolis.
