So any school can update and change another schools information?

 

That would explian alot if that is the case. And if that is the case this might be the perfect example of why they should change that. "I think there must be more to it"...:confused:

You are right Keemo. The only people that can change information is that school. Each school receives a password and all information on the website can be changed only if you have that pass code. Somerset cannot change another teams schedule and vice versa. It looks like Somerset stood up Mercer and left Mercer hanging in the wind.

It is true that Somerset can not change another team's schedule. However, once a game is listed by a team on their schedule it automatically is added to it's opponents schedule.

My sources tell me the SHS HC(?) agreed to play Mercer thinking he was on his way out...then renigged on HCHS and last Mercer.

A new source told me yesterday that the contract was never signed, Jaggers and Cobb had agreed to the game weeks ago. But with time running out no one in the administration at Mercer could or would forward a signed copy to the SHS AD. SHS grabbed the Metcalfe game at the last minute to ensure the schedule was filled. I do not know at what lengths they went to at the last minute to contact Mercer, but I was told that they had called several times wanting a signed contract and were told repeatedly over the last several weeks, were sending it but it never showed up.

 

I as a Jumper fan wish they were playing, but they are not, and I am ready to move on with the games we do have.

This thread was started out with the same question it end with. Somerset Admistration reminds me the old "who's on 1st skit". Is anyone in charge? Is Mercer just going to take it? Is Somerset gonna get straightened out? Who's on 2nd? WOW :confused:

For what? Not signing a contract? No matter whose fault the mixup was if their wasn't a signed contract the verbal deal wouldn't mean a thing. If Somerset had signed a contract with BOTH teams then it might have been some kind of violation. But from you're earlier posts I can see you would really like it be a violation.

If I have in the eyes of a Moderator or The Guru, I am sure they would straighten me out, not you. I am merely trying to get a little info only...

As far as I am concerned, this is my last post on this thread. It started out in question and is still questionable. Just merely a no-brainer...

First, some of us need to take some deep breaths before we continue.

 

Second, if someone from Mercer got into the system and added the game, it would show up for both schools. Same with Somerset. They could have added Mercer to their schedule and it show up on both schedules. However, schools aren't the only ones with passwords to the schedule website and we'll leave it at that.

 

It sounds to me as if someone may have jumped the gun in adding the schedule to the KHSAA web site. I just don't know which side.
