Hotdog Eating Contest

In one corner Kobayashi, the 6 time defending champion but he's been suffering from some type of jaw ailment. In the other Joey Chestnut, the current record holder at 59 1/2 hotdogs. Can Chestnut bring the title back to the US? Is Kobayashi playing possum? Does anyone care? The showdown is at high noon today in NYC.

I think he was playing possum, he still ate 63 which broke both the World and Event record. Chestnut just put away 66.

Chestnut had set the previous world record of 59 1/2 hotdogs and buns just last month so I think he knew he was in for a struggle.

I've seen some gross things in my life, but the hot dog eating contest is one of those ridiculously gross things I cant watch anymore. I mean, they dip the bread in water and shove down 60 or so hot dogs in a short time. Are the dogs cooked? If not, even worse.

2 Hot Dogs and I'm done (well, okay maybe large fry also)....Can't comprehend, how this is done.
