Buying American

Featured Replies

There is a tire plant here, well it was until last year when it closed. The union guys use to get vocal about driving American cars. I had problems understanding their point. I have a Toyota made in the US and a Ford made in Canada. Which is the American Car? Seemed to me it was more so the Toyota than the Ford

I read this thread and I'm reminded of the Michael Keaton movie "Gung Ho"

"Back to worrrrrk!!"

Is your issue that they drive out the local mom/pops?

Quality?

Union related?

Nah!!!

Made in India and Malaysia here, all the Chinese are mad because they can't find anything made in China!!! :thumb: :thumb:

I DO know that if I could find a computer company whose helpline isnt in India with people speaking broken English, I would be a devoted customer. It is frustrating enough to have problems with a computer without having to try to figure out what your "helper" is trying to say.
