Trevor Wellbrock will be a big time contributor as a Junior at Covington Catholic.

CN32 - you need to work on using that "quote" feature. Otherwise, people are going to think you're schizo.;)

With that said, I do like the kid's game. I'll be curious to see how tall he gets. He looks like he's going to get taller. Needs muscle.

sorry... I was talking to him the other day and he said he might be 6 man

No chance he starts varsity. Noll, Maile, Schmerge, Grimes, and Lampl will get 95% of the time on the front line. This kid just needs to continue to work and get stronger. No need to rush him as he's not quite ready yet.

Spaulding will be a junior this year at Boone County. He is a great athlete. He will be a contributor at Boone this year. He plays football so you never know when he will join the basketball team.

I knew that he was going to be a sophomore but he will not be able to make as much impact this season because of the depth at his position. He is a relentless worker on the glass and will only get better. He spends a lot of time in the gym working on his game.

Wellbrock should get just as much if not more time than Lampl.

Lampl is OK and fills his role well. Wellbrock can't fill that role.

If Wellbrock is 6"4 or up this year (which he isn't yet but is growing and I haven't seem him in a few months) he should be the first big guy off the bench.

I think that's what we call a moot point, correct?

What about Isler? He is 6'4 and has the beef plus should be healthy this season. He seemed to play more than Lampl last year towards the end of the season.

6'4 is probably generous. Strong kid. More of a 4 than a 5.

Keyvon Arnold will be a 6"2' freshman guard/ slashing forward at Holmes. He will see varsity time and I believe he saw JV time as a 8th Grader.

Manny Nelson also will start to develop into a strong inside defensive presence next year as freshman playing up on JV and Varsity at Holmes.

Zac Jones for Gallatin County will make a big impact for the Wildcats. If not this year, next for sure.
