I know 96.5 still wants The Angries, but there is a 6 month no compete on Skinner. Expect them to be there in November. I am working on two different deals that would have me on after Furman 3 nights a week this fall...

June 21, 200719 yr Used to like Lance, but his schtick has worn itself out with me. Most of the time, I still listen because there is no other option but find myself irritated to the point, I just put in a Chris Tomlin or Casting Crowns or DC TALK CD.

June 21, 200719 yr Author There's a difference between a slur and an accent...I've been to the Vets many times on the weekends. It's drunk you hear not accent. There are some around here who have somewhat of a southern accent. But I don't, mex, you don't, and almost everyone I know that's from here does not.
June 21, 200719 yr There can't be anyone worse on local radio is there? My goodness. How does he have a job? Quite simply the answer is he is doing 2 jobs for probably less than the price of 1. Doing news updates all night and then a sports show from 5:30 to 9 means bad quality for the sports show. In fact, one morning at 5:45 he repeated a 10 minute interview from the previous day with some Cincinnati Cyclones player (which was not very good and had no reason to be aired a second time) and I suspect it was because he was doing a news update elsewhere. The production quality on all 1530 morning shows is way down from previous months. No highlights from other games (other than national updates), the guests aren't very plentiful or meaningful and the caller quantity and quality is way down.
June 22, 200719 yr My radio at one time didn't move from 1530....now I don't even remember the last time I listened to 1530. What happen to the two angry guys and even skinny. One morning he was knocking the Reds big time and the next day he was off the air.... Really a shame as there really is no sports talk show worth my time to listen anymore.....
