June 19, 200719 yr Same here.....Although I hate the Knicks as well, I really like the Bulls. It would be tough for me rooting for the Bulls with Kobe, but I'm pretty sure I can do it. I don't have strong feelings one way or the other when it comes to the Knicks, but one thing is for sure - the NBA is better when the Knicks are good.
June 19, 200719 yr I don't have strong feelings one way or the other when it comes to the Knicks, but one thing is for sure - the NBA is better when the Knicks are good. True....although I'd go as far to say when the East is good...
June 19, 200719 yr It would make my day to see Garnett traded away from the T-wolves to a team that has a shot at winning the title. He deserves the chance before age starts to catch up to him. I would love to see him make it to the Heat! I know that Riley won't go into next season with the same team he had last and he showed 2 years ago that he isn't afraid to make a move.
June 19, 200719 yr Does Kobe have the ability to approve the trade? If not, what about a Minnesota package that sends KG to the Lakers. Jim Rome had a good point today. Lakers may be stuck in needing to get a star name back from a trade for Kobe. Not sure the package from the Bulls that has been bandied about would do that. A Dirk. A KG. A McGrady. Can't really think of anyone in the East. He has a no-trade clause he will choose where he wants to go.
June 20, 200719 yr Bruce Bowen was on Leno tonight. I must say, I have new gained respect for this guy. He was very humble and well-spoken. I came away impressed.
June 20, 200719 yr In the last issue of ESPN the Mag, Bowen said he thinks all NBA players should be required to go to work along side a blue collar worker for one day, to realize how good they have it made.
June 30, 200719 yr Author http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/30/sports/basketball/30nba.html?ref=sports Free Agents’ Top Skill: Moving Big Names More than 130 players will spill into the N.B.A.’s free-agent market after the clock strikes midnight tonight. That makes at least 130 new pawns in the N.B.A.’s real off-season game: the hunt for Kevin Garnett. Where will these player's end up...... Kevin Garnett Rashard Lewis Kobe Jermaine O'Neal Chauncey Billups Vince Carter Gerald Wallace Grant Hill Ruben Patterson Jerry Stackhouse Eddie Jones Matt Barnes Darko Milicic Chris Webber Jammal Magloire Dikembe Mutombo
July 3, 200719 yr Rashard Lewis may end up back in Seattle! Or not... http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2924228
July 3, 200719 yr Or not... http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2924228 Maybe Bill Donovan should have joined the Magic afterall! Just kidding. This, IMO really gives the Magic a big boost because they have probably 2 All Stars now. Stan VanGundy is going to be a happy man next season IMO.
July 3, 200719 yr I would like to see Garnett go to an Eastern conference team. The Cavs would be a great location!
July 3, 200719 yr Or not... http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2924228 Yeah, well I had read that he may end up back in Seattle but I guess not now!
July 3, 200719 yr Billups back to the Pistons... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/basketball/nba/07/03/billups.ap/index.html
