July 12, 200719 yr Yeah, but they need size, not another 2-3 combo. Wallace is a very underrated player, but I don't think he fits in with Richardson very well. What size could they have really gotten in this free agent class that was worth while? They have Okafor and May. Brezec and Hermann have been solid at times, along with having guys like Jake Voskuhl and Othella Harrington who can give solid minutes. They drafted Jared Dudley and Jermareo Davidson who both could make an impact next year. They waived Brevin Knight. Sounds to me like they need perimeter guys and a proven scorer. Enter JRich.

If they were going to make a realffort to resign Wallace, they should have kept Brandon Wright IMO. I just don't see Wallace and Richardson working out.

The nice thing about Wallace is that (I don't think) he needs to be "the man". He's a glue guy who is coincidently a good scorer. I say that Bobcats make the playoffs this year.
July 12, 200719 yr Booyakasha! It looks like Morris is having a pretty solid summer so far. Only 3 games in, but he looks like he will be a good pickup for the Knicks.
July 12, 200719 yr It looks like Morris is having a pretty solid summer so far. Only 3 games in, but he looks like he will be a good pickup for the Knicks. I would assume he'd be classified as a rookie this season. I don't know for sure though. He does give them a little depth in the post.

July 12, 200719 yr Author http://www.nba.com/summerleague2007/players/summer_league_rankings_071207.html Race To MVP: NBA Summer League Style By Maurice Brooks LAS VEGAS, July 12, 2007 -- I don’t know why I’m telling you this, but I once failed a science test in 12th grade even though my teacher allowed the entire class to use our text books. You see, sometimes even though the right answer is staring you in the face, it takes a while for you to find it. Maybe that is why even though I have been in Las Vegas since July 4, I didn’t decide to write an NBA Summer League presented by adidas version of Race to the MVP until three this morning. This is something I should have thought about doing days ago. I mean seriously, talk about a no-brainer. I ranked the players during the NBA regular season. I’m currently ranking the players during the WNBA season. 1) Binelli 2) Louis Williams 3) Rodney Stuckey 7. Kelenna Azubuike, Warriors 10. Francisco Garcia, Kings

Definitely the case with Wallace. Guys that go out and do everything like him dont always have to be "the man" on offense. Wallace is one of those guys that does everything. I dont see the problem. JRich was able to play with Baron Davis pretty well.
