June 16, 200719 yr Nothing beats a good grilled Hot-Dog!:thumb: A brat. Simmer some brats in your favorite beer with half an onion or so for a while, then throw on the grill until charred to your content. A few minutes prior to the brats being done, split some rolls and lay them face down on the grill. Put the brat on the roll, and then squirt on some mustard. :thumb:
June 16, 200719 yr ^ Emeril is in the house........... BAM! I have my moments.....when it comes to cooking, I do alright..
June 16, 200719 yr Havent tried that...do you have it thinly sliced or thick? I had some flank steak on vacation in Mayan Riviera last year that was excellent, but it has to be thin, because it is a little tough once it is cooked past medium. Most stores like Kroger's has them sliced at about an inch or more, and a half inch thickness seems best. All skirt steaks are thin...they are also nice and lean as well.

June 16, 200719 yr Grilled Bananas.... Split bananas long ways then cut in half....coat them lightly with a mixture that is 1/4 cup melted butter (unsalted), 2 tbspns honey, and 2 tspns lemon juice....grill over medium low heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side (be careful when flipping, they will be soft).....when you remove, you can top with your favorite liqueor and some vanilla ice cream....
June 16, 200719 yr Rubbed Chicken: (my preference: thighs and legs) 1 tablespoon garlic powder 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon dried basil 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin 1/8 teaspoon ground thyme 1/8 teaspoon finely ground black pepper *take the chicken thighs and trim the excess fat...lightly rub with some EVOO, then rub with above mixture....grill over medium heat, turning 1/4 turn....then flipping...make sure to get the internal temp close to 180 degrees. . . . be careful the skin will want to burn....now, the real key in great food from the grill...when you take the chicken off the grill let it rest for 10 minutes...then enjoy..
