There are young children watching this show and if he is doing this to get good ratings then that is absolutly WRONG, with 9/11, VT, War, and everything else I think wrestling has now reached a new low point...
June 13, 200719 yr I thought it was absolutely hilarious!!! They even had the flags at the WWE Corporate Headquarters in Stamford, CT flying at half mast yesterday and they delayed the supplemental draft from today until Sunday.
June 13, 200719 yr Over on PWInsider.com there are several stories regarding the "incident" one involving the FBI being contacted by the newspaper in Wilkes-Barre asking if they were looking into it. I kid you not. :lol: Anyway, thanks to the folks at that fine site. WWE began acquiring local permits to do the stunt several weeks back. The footage of Vince McMahon getting into the limo was live and WWE then spliced into taped footage of the explosion. For fans leaving the Arena, WWE actually had the burnt out husk of the limo they blew up on Sunday on display.

If children are watching a TV-14 show then that is the Parent's fault, not the WWE. If children are still up at 11:05 on a Monday night that is parent's fault, not the WWE. If children are watching a wrestling show with half naked women, the occasional curse word, and staged violence that is the parent's fault not the WWE. with 9/11, VT, War, and everything else Yeah because someone diying on a TV drama is EXACTLY like all those horrific real life tragedies. I think wrestling has now reached a new low point No it reached it's low point in 2003 with the Triple H/Kane/Katie Vick angle that resulted in necrophilia segment. After that they had nowhere to go but up. It's a TV show folks. I will look for the same outrage next time a character dies on 24.
June 13, 200719 yr ^ Yeah because everyone knows he's not dead and flying flags half mast is to remember the one's that we've lost and it's just a new scneario to play out for about a week or two. He'll come back with bandages all over his face because of the "burns" and then everything will be back to normal.

June 13, 200719 yr Hilarious in my opinion. Its TV man, lighten up. Kids shouldnt be watching that crap anyway. If they are, the parents are probably unfit anyway and they are probably watching worse programming. I turned it off when they were doing a skit on one of the wrestlers finding out his father was someone else. I thought that was distastefull toward kids who may be raised by their non-biological fathers.
June 14, 200719 yr The flying the flags at half mast was disrespectful IMO. I personally enjoyed the storyline, it was completly unexpected and something alittle different. I do however agree about the flags. The thing that seemed more disrespectful than that was the 10-bell salute to start the ECW show last night. This is usually a sign of respect for descesed wrestler, Real dead wrestlers. I'm just a little curious how this storyline will work out, its probabily one of the most "Extreme" scenes ever in this that Business..jmo.
