Lexington Catholic had a good showing..but fatigue set in. They attended Uk's 7 on 7 camp and played a tournament on friday night. They ended up going 23-3 over the course of 3 days. They got beat out in the final four to eventual champion Shelby County.

How does a team that will dress over 60 players get fatigued?

What part of 26 games in 3 days did you not get.

Did any northern ky. schools attend?

Yes, as stated above, They went to Ohio State. And the Buckleyes offered 3 Rams after the tourney. QB Britt, TE/WR Moore, and RB Shaw. Moore and Britt are committed to Michigan adn UC, and Shaw will soon commit to Penn St or Michigan. So I doubt OSU gets any of these guys.

Ram,

You need to get in Shaw's ear and tell him he needs to take a visit to Nebraska, he wont regret it.

Trotwod-Madison from Ohio is going to be there and was interested in who all would be there from Kentucky?

This will be TM first action of the summer, so they will be rusty. But looking for a good day.

So how did Trotwood do in Columbus. Nothing like going from being one of the top schools at a camp to being just another average team at Ohio State.

 first they are passing games, they are not physical, no blocking, tackling or hitting just running in helmets, and second they have 60 players, substitutions should have been a thought, they probably just played a two deep man any ways so you can have alot of subs, and they did not have to make a long bus trip either. Lex Cath is five minutes from UK they probably went home or out to eat between games.

I know that the only reason they went was because Ohio State was pulling the trigger on 3 of their players. Coach Douglass played for UK, and I know he was excited to be going back to Lexington. I hear that he talks of UK very fondly. TM was not an average team anywhere.....The UK trip would have been a great expierence for the kids, they had planned on staying overnight in the dorms and being there friday and saturday.

3-1 TM won all their games by a easy margin. The last game was a loss, but they played their backups almost exclusively.

The Day started with TM scoring on 6 of their first 8 plays. Vs Kilbourne, and then Beating St. Francis, NY by a wide margin. The games were out of control, until TM wholesale subbed their young players in, the third game was vs Athletes with Purpose from Indiana. And that wasn't a game until TM rolled the Sophmores into the game.

The last game vs Northmont was neck and neck, with TM taking the lead in the second set of plays, but TM coaches as was the sign all day, Subbed in the Sophmores in the third set of plays. And Northmont won the game by 4 points.

I believe Catholic played with 3 different teams all week. Two of them varsity and 1 JV team. So, one can assume that their players were spread out.

26 games/3 days = 9 games a day 9 games/3 teams is only 3 games a day per team (3 games x1 team) X 3 days= 9 games in 3 days for each team.

Catholic played for 4 days. They attended UKs passing camp and played in the Friday night tournament, which they won. The 26 games played was only their #1 team. Their #2 team played about 18 to 20 games.

:irked: Point being is that they loss, do not make excuses, it is unfair to the players because they worked hard and had spectacular results to only be tarnish that they were tired and fatigued. Give credit were credit is due I thought the teams in the tournament looked great and Lex Cath had a stellar performance. There is no need to make up excuses for them.

No excuses for the Southwestern Warriors. We lost our only game of the day to that very good South Carolina team in the play-off 2nd round. We had a great time and enjoyed the strong competition...:thumb:

I enjoyed watching your quarterback play. What year is the kid? He is a good athlete who can throw it adequately enough.
