Unbelievable! I give the boys a great deal of credit for stepping in there. Don't know that I could have done it at that age. All of them were great sports about it, particularly the young man who said he didn't want to look foolish. Good for them.

I want to say she's 6-1, but that may not be correct. I seem to recall hearing that. Regardless, I've stood next to her and she's very tall.

There have been reports in the paper listing her at 6'1. I don't think she's quite that tall. 5'11 maybe. Very strong. Very muscular. Leaner this year than last.

I'd say that she is right around 6' tall. I do believe that it was Murray who went large.....

I didn't notice this until Ernst mentioned it in his blog. When you see Murray going deep, notice coach Bill Matteoli , helmeted, jumping in front of his star pitcher to protect her.
