One would think that Somerset with all that county talent should have made a little better showing. There Roster including starting pitcher Wallen is loaded with kids that live in the county school district. Somerset Independant Schools the next best thing to a private school.

 

Thats funny because there may be one or two kids that live in the county. I don't think thats all their talent. Wallen lives in the city.

Well I guess you dont know your facts..because the Wallens have moved and maybe 3 kids on the roster live in the county...not sure where ur sources are coming from but their wrong.

Both Ryle and Somerset, are currently playing as 2 of the final 16 teams. I can think of a lot of other programs, that would welcome the chance to play.

Somerset made it out of a very tough region. Ryle just might have been under rated but I definately would not say Somerset was over rated, they do have a quality baseball program.

Absolutely! I personally hope Ryle finishes it off tonight but any team coming out of the region certainly deserves great respect as one of the 16 finalists.

I totally agree, I mean I agree these teams are there for a reason. They know how to win & have fought their way through their region & that in itself deserves respect.

I guarntee you one thing....Somerset has the respect of the Ryle players.

They know enough that it's imporntant to win tonight because if Somerset wins tonight....it's a whole new series. Danville, West Jesmine and Mercer are great programs and those are the teams that Somerset had to deal with all year. I seriously doubt if they are going to lie down tonight and slip signtly into the night.

You must be out of your mind.. Somerset has fewer students in there entire school than Ryle does in one grade.. It was a heck of an accomplishment to make it this far, and I dont see how you can say they were overrated..Ryle didnt see the jumpers best baseball.. (I still think Ryle is the better team) I just think it would have been a much better series had somerset played how they did in region.. But saying the Jumpers were overrated is rediculous!
