June 7, 200719 yr leaving us out of the top 10 IMO is pretty off A team that finished unranked in both polls, should be put into the Top 10 with an average incoming class?...

June 7, 200719 yr A team that finished unranked in both polls, should be put into the Top 10 with an average incoming class?... They shouldn't be in the top 10 or maybe even top 25 preseason but their incoming class has been ranked as high as top 5 and is not an average incoming class. There's over 300 teams in D-1 average would be in the 150 range, this one is much, much better than that.

June 7, 200719 yr It's not good enough to put them in the Top 10. Top 10 recruiting class or top 10 team next season?
June 7, 200719 yr It's not good enough to put them in the Top 10. Scouts Inc. and ESPN don't agree with you expert analysis. They've got UK at number 7. Hardly an average class. To paraphrase Daniels Kaffee: "You said an average class, I can have the court reporter read it back to you if you want."
June 7, 200719 yr Top 10 recruiting class or top 10 team next season? I'm only talking about the recruiting class. There's no way they should be a top 10 or maybe even top 25 ranked team to begin with and probably won't be a top 10 team at any time next year. Their recruiting class was far from "average" as Deuce called it though.
June 7, 200719 yr Team. But you think its only an average recruiting class? We can't even get you bumped up to above average?
June 7, 200719 yr But you think its only an average recruiting class? We can't even get you bumped up to above average? I will admit I goofed on the recruiting class. I thought I had seen it ranked lower, and that may have been before the class was complete. They do have a very solid class coming in.

No problem, I misread what you were saying too, I thought you were talking about the class. No way do I think their recruiting class makes them a top 10 team. I think they can be top 25 if everyone lives up to their billing but not top 10.

I think they can be top 25 if everyone lives up to their billing but not top 10. I disagree. They could have been a top ten team last year, but the old administration didn't seem to have the team prepared mentally. Gillispie, from what I've seen, always has his troops prepared. I think you'll see Kentucky crack the top ten this upcoming season. If they don't, I will admit that I was wrong, but in all honesty, I think they will.
