May 20, 200719 yr New Chief is George's wife. At least that is what I understood. But then McDreamy had that comment about the present Chief needed to STAY as chief. And George's wife saw the one doctor looking for the posting on the bulletin board and we never saw her ACTUALLY get told that she was. We only saw a flyer, that she could have posted AFTER she saw the other lady looking for the flyer, and because she bragged about it and her and George trying to have kids to George's mistress. Left a little opening there.

May 20, 200719 yr Here's my question...is Christina happy or not happy that she didn't marry Burke? I understood it that she finally felt free and never really wanted to marry him anyway, but my friends disagreed. What do you think?

My wife and I were talking about that same thing after the program. Can't really tell, she always said that she "didn't like rules" or "traditions" but I think that she was really hurt (that she was free) and loved Burke more than she wanted to admit. JMO
May 20, 200719 yr I had been very disappointed with this season of Grey's. I thought the whole story line was kinda ridiculous. But then I listened to Shonda Rimes' podcast today about the final episode. There is so much symbolism she talked about that I hadn't even noticed but makes sense in retrospect. I guess over the course of the season its easy to forget the little details that tie things together. I guess I say that to say after listening to her, I have a greater respect for the characters and writers of the show. I'll be tuning back in next season.
May 20, 200719 yr Author I understood that Calleigh was the new Chief Resident. Chief of Surgery is what "The Chief" is. Bingo.

Season #2 was so good that it would be hard to top. I think that they will in the future. A poster earlier said that Greys #2 season was as good of series as there has been on t.v. for a long time and I 100% agree.
May 21, 200719 yr Callie is the new chief resident, but the Chief will have to decide whether he wants to keep the title, or if he can handle the job and family life at the same time... The character of "Lexxie Gray" has been signed to atleast 13 episodes next season according to reports, look for her to be a regular character from now on... I really think ABC had something to do with the ending... Burke's character (Isiah Washington) had some anti-gay remarks toward T.R. Knight (character of George) on more than one occassion during the shooting of season 3.... really have no idea what to expect there... I think it's important to also realize the symmetry of Izzie's character.. starts the season heartbroken, takes 3 or 4 episodes to even enter the hospital again, then gets to be an actual doctor again only after saving the guy who was trapped under a car... then comes back down with her love with George at the end... sets up alot like the end of Season 2, only now the love triangle with between Izzie, Callie, and George... If you watch the first season of Grey's, and compare it too now, the character who has changed the most has been Alex without question... he was added to the show at the last minute (had to be added into the pilot with reshooted scenes), was a pure butthole through much of season 1 and 2, but then we started seeing his personal side at the end of season 2 and certainly in season 3... I really like what they have done with his part... I'm really interested to see how they make Addison leave... does she just pick up and leave and they just mention it in passing at the start of season 4? That will be I have a really bad feeling about the spinoff "Private Practice"... Kate Walsh is talented and extremely attractive, but I didn't care too much for the backdoor pilot that aired with GA on the two hour episode on May 3... I'd be shocked if Walsh doesn't go back on GA if the show flops....
May 21, 200719 yr I haven't been on the computer much since Thursday night's finale, but I thought that the season finale left a little bit to be desired. I'm comparing this to the 1st and 2nd season's final shows. While I say that, I still love watching the show. Yes, Callie is the new "Chief Resident". Dr. Weber is the "Chief of Surgery" and it looks like McDreamy has a heart too by telling him to keep the job and "do things over". I really like Addison and hate to see her leave. I don't have any idea what is going to happen with Burke and George. I hope they stay. Well, that's my take. I guess it's reruns until September!
