It's hard to beat a good old Zebco 33, some redworms, and a roostertail!!!:thumb:

:thumb: Those will work as well, I still fish the rooster tails a lot.

Reels - Garcia, and Bass Pro Baitcasters

Shimano Spinning Reels

Rods - Shakespeare Ugly Stik

Line - Shakespeare Cajun Line, Berkley Triline

Spinnerbaits - Strike King Booyah

Crankbaits - Crankbaits

I use rooster tails a lot for trout

bluegall have to have a pop eye jig and wax worm

All-Star rods with Calcutta reels is about all I use any more.. Still have a few of the original Berkley Lightening rods that are over 25 years old..

The roostertail is a fun little bait to use just because you never know what will hit it! Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, its all fair game with thr roostertail! I own one in almost every color and size!:thumb:

:thumb: That little bait is one of my "money" baits. When fishing gets tough you can tie on a rooster tail or roadrunner and catch fish.

I mostly use ultralight gear around here. I got a Quantum reel last Christmas and it seems to be doing fine. It's on a Shakespeare rod. I've also got a Garcia reel on a Bass Pro Shops rod That I've been using for years. Both have 4 lb. test. I will also get out the old flyrod every now and then but I can't remember what brand it is.

I was all Garcia until last year when I receive a Shimano Chronarc Mg for my birthday, all I can say is OMG. It is like going from a great SUV to driving a Corvette. I would have never spent that much on a reel, but I will tell you it is worth every penny if you fish very much at all. I received a G Loomis rod for Christmas this year, (again it was more than I would have ever spent) and with the Chronarc it is absolutely incredible and the entire rig doesn't weigh over 6ozs.

Rods- Shimano or Fenwick or Fish Eagle II

Reels- Shimano or Fish eagles

Baits

Jigs that I make, for almost everything

AC Shiners

Wally Divers

Spinner Baits

Twisters, and other plastic minnows.

Shad Raps
