May 9, 200719 yr I know a agent in Charlestown and he told me he had talked to him, and was trying to work out a deal for him to be his agent in a couple of years and he said Duke. I asked if he was biased and guessing because he was a Duke fan, and he said most defintley. If I was a betting man I'd still say Florida. Im afraid were behind Duke and Florida.
May 9, 200719 yr Author I really think that the NBA stuff is going to hurt Florida in this game. We still have the O Magic getting ready to load up the bus for Donovan as well. Honestly, I feel the only reason Donovan turned down UK was because he plans on getting to the NBA sooner rather than later. That speculation is starting to bear its fruit. If Donovan can swing these two despite the rumors and the non-rebuttals to them....hats off to them. Very similar to Pitino's last two years at UK when the NBA stuff was rampant every offseason, which coincided with two of his poorer recruiting classes at UK. Duke is a real possibility, but all three are legit options. I got an email today saying that UK is a real likely destination for both but will only believe it when it happens, based on this whole process being dragged out so long.

May 9, 200719 yr Id say that is an illegal contact by the agent...particularly with a high school kid. No contract just talking ya know. More like friends talking, trying to buddy up to him to get his money haha. But he was being more sarcastic than anything just found it funny that even agents are guessing. But I hear so many things every day, at work I get all kinds of emails on it, but honestly I believe nothing and nobody knows except possibly him, if he even knows, and his parents.
May 9, 200719 yr I believe this is correct and the reason for the LOI. You can also only sign one LOI. In cases like Legion, he signed an LOI for Michigan, then getting out of it, he was not allowed to sign another. He actually signed a scholarship agreement with UK. It would be interesting to see what top schools would do if a player said he wanted to play but he will not sign an LOI. Its not required.
