April 27, 200719 yr It seems like every year some team will either panick or just make a bad choice that screws up the draft board for most other teams which starts a chain reaction of bad picks or just picking someone too high. I think the Raiders could be that team. Here you go…..Trent Green will get traded to the Dolphins. The Dolphins will cut Daunte Culpepper. The Raiders know this will happen so they draft Calvin Johnson with the first pick. Who is your choice?
April 27, 200719 yr Which ever team that takes Brady (I HAVE NEVER WON A BIG GAME)Quinn with their first pick.
April 27, 200719 yr Which ever team that takes Brady (I HAVE NEVER WON A BIG GAME)Quinn with their first pick. From what I read leave that to Cleveland. They screw up everything else so why stop here.
April 27, 200719 yr I heard on a sports talk show that the Browns are taking I can not stay healthy A-Peterson with their first pick. I am not a Browns fan so I like this move by them. They have a horrible O-Line so taking a RB I.M.O. will not help them that much*Unless they go O-line in the next round or two.
April 27, 200719 yr I will go with the easy choice and say the Lions, at least other teams have been in the playoffs recently or will be in the playoffs again. The Lions NEVER seem to do the right thing. Just amazing the years and years of drafts they have wasted away.

Just amazing the years and years of drafts they have wasted away. :thumb: The lions was my second choice, I went against them because they are the obvious choice, well at least for the last few years. I think Al Davis might do something, that will have other GM thinking "oh no what do we do now..."
April 27, 200719 yr To clarify the thread, I believe it is to see who makes that one pick that messes up the entire draft board... not who will select a subpar player or draft bust. For instance, everyone thinks Russell will be drafted first. Based upon that, GMs have already penciled in who they are going to take. Let us say last minute, they pick Johnson, it completely changes the draft order. Now, some team not even considering Russell may have to consider him. Who is going to make a pick that "stuns" the crowd and leaves available someone that was not supposed to be there.

April 27, 200719 yr I would say Detroit qualifies for that honor too. Probably so. Maybe they will be taking a punter in the first round this season.
April 27, 200719 yr Probably so. Maybe they will be taking a punter in the first round this season. That's the only thing they HAVEN'T done yet, so maybe you are on to something. That would be the funniest thing I have seen in the NFL since the Bears had Craig Krenzel starting at QB a couple years ago. lol
