Now that Billy Donovan has left Kentucky at the altar, what would be the best thing for the UK basketball program?

Get Tubby back. :D But seriously I think the best option right now is Thad or Gillispe.

UK needs to find a coach that the fans and players will be excited about. Looks like Barnes may be interested and D'antoni from Phoniex. If D'antoni came to UK his offense would be so fast it would make Pitino's look slow. I am not sure how his system would do in the college game but it would be exciting and I am sure that a lot of players would like to play college ball for a coach with an NBA background, I know that was allegedly one of the reasons O.J. Mayo went to USC. I just hope they find someone soon and his last name is not Crean.

The last one is not really an option now is it?

No, but would it have been the best thing for the program?

No, but would it have been the best thing for the program?

Absolutely.

Florida's juniors going pro...

Look at this:

Florida's starting five, and their sixth man go pro.

Kentucky is in line to sign Patterson and Lucas, but Tubby leaves.

If Tubby was still here, would we be the preseason #1 for the SEC?

I would like to see Calipari or Matta hired. Those 2 guys IMO would get a lot done at UK!!!

I'd say sign Gillispie or D'Antoni.

Yes.
