Who's with me?

I am. Against a righty, Dunn, Hamilton, Griffey. Freel in the infield for EE or BP if he needs a rest. Lefty: Freel plays OF for whoever needs a rest.

Cubs 3B Aramis Ramirez missed the game with a swollen right wrist. X-rays were negative and he also had an arthrogram, results of which will be released Saturday. The diagnosis Friday was tendinitis.

Has he been playing with Jr.'s kids?:D

Who's with me?

Has it been EVERY year of this century that the REds have had this 4 outfielder problem?

Griffey has an extra base hit....BTW, hssb...he didn't ask for the ball.:p

AND it was pulled to RF.

Ken Griffey Jr. got into a bit of a confrontation with a writer in the visitors' clubhouse at Wrigley.

Griffey was talking to a Nike rep. Buzz Bissinger, author of Friday Night Light, came up and asked for a few minutes. Bissinger is working on something for the New York Times.

Griffey said he was having a conversation. Bissinger said he only had 20 minutes. Griffey basically said too bad. Bissinger said "you're not worth it" or words to that effect and walked away.

Griffey followed him and said some not so nice things. "You disrespected me," was all I heard clearly.

Let me add this to the post from the link, since it gives a balancing view of JR while the first post gives a different view. from the writer..........

I've got to side with Griffey here. Clubhouse protocol is that players are available, but at their leisure. If I wanted to talk to Griffey, I would have waited until he was free. He may or may not have talked to me. But all would have been civil.

Just thank goodness that Hamilton isn't in the lineup, don't think it will really matter and the Cubs will lose anyway, but as hot as he has been, I'm glad the Cubs don't have to worry about him.

The Reds get 2 on, with two out in the 2nd, but Ross continues to look completely loss at the plate. He strikes out on 3 pitches.

No score through 3.

Reds can't cash in on walks and baserunners.

Cubs can't get a bunt down, FUN baseball. lol

Reds strand two more runners as EE pops up, and Castro grounds out.

I find it hard to believe Hamilton is not playing. unless the cubs got a lefty pitching

Yeah, Rich Hill is a lefty, that's why Josh is on the bench.

No score through 4. I think the Reds have had 2 baserunners every inning, Hill can't throw strikes AT ALL.

Cubs take a 1-0 lead on two hits, a wild pitch, and a sac fly. Still just one out, and a runner on 3rd.

Squeeze bunt. Cubs lead 2-0
