Possible.

Alright, now you are just being mean and cruel.:D :sssh: ;)

That's what they were saying on ESPN yesterday. He is close to Wade somehow, Hasslen and a couple of others they named off. No doubt his winning has put him in the drivers seat to do what he wants with his career. I definatly don't blame him for considering his options. He can be the king of Florida or leave there messy.

If he has success at UK then he will never find that kind of reward in Florida other than money wise. Time will tell.

Possible.

Just making this one up, or do you have an uncle who's a realtor in Miami?

No I heard this one on the radio.:thumb:

I just heard this possibility on ESPN. ESPN's T. Friend reported this and stated that the Heat would more than likely be making stong play for Donovan. The guys on the "Mike and Mike" show were talking about it. Pat Riley retiring?? .................Who knows??, could be something to it.

Also, Rick Majerus was also mentioned as a possible cantidate for the U.K. job although he "blew it off", not likely.

They were talking about on ESPN radio just a few minutes ago. Donovan, IMO, is pimping himself out for the most money. UK, UF, Miami Heat are all going to ante up and be used against one another.

You beat me to this thread, reported Riley possibly retiring due to health reasons and Donovan to the Heat.

$3 million a year would buy a lot of room service.

He (Donovan) definately has the leverage right now.

I will say that I don't think anybody has a clue what is actually going on right now. I think this is a dangerous game that both UK and Donovan are playing. It may end up damaging both in the long run.

He may play everyone to get the offers up, but I don't think money will be the decision maker. He'll be well paid wherever he ends up, so I think he'll go where he thinks the best fit is.

On a side note, anyone think Billy will look at Rick's foray into the NBA?

   and he could live in the hotel that houses Rupp Arena! :D I don't think that there is anything to that at all but I must say that imo Majerus is one heck of a college basketball coach and would not be that bad of a choice. Imo if Donovan doesn't come to U.K. (the job is his to turn down) then that would move Crean to the top of the list. JMO

Depends on his ego and if he thinks that he is Gods gift to basketball like Pitino did and some on here still do. :D
