March 27, 200719 yr ... Cuz nothing says for certian quite like a coaching contract. BTW... I don't think he was a realistic candidate for the UK job, I just don't think that "He just signed an extension" means much at all. That is reality for Cardinal fans as much as anyone. It's a shame that a contact isn't worth the paper it is written on anymore. I certainly feel it should be very expense for which ever party is wanting out.
March 27, 200719 yr I echo the sentiments said by a few people already. Whenever I hear of a contract extension by a coach in ANY sport, I don't pay much attention to it. Everyone here has seen numerous examples of when an extension suddenly becomes null and void. Doesn't mean anything to me. As I said when the Tubby news broke, the DIAMOND in the rough is PETE GILLEN! He really can help turn UK basketball around. :lol:
March 27, 200719 yr Never saw this one unfolding to begin with. Even though I didn't have as much against Cal as most did on here, it still seemed as if he and UK didn't fit.

I want to thank the Memphis admin. in signing "Snake" Calipari to a contract and keeping him the heck out of Lexington, Ky.. Imo we didn't need any kind of immediate probation watch:sssh: , which would surely follow Calipari.
