Donovan doesn't tell Wildcats not to call him

Featured Replies

Last night, after his team defeated Butler 65-57 in the Midwest Regional semifinals, Donovan had an opportunity to tell Kentucky to take a deep cleansing breath and get excited about other names on the Tubby Smith Replacement List.

Donovan didn't do it.

Twice.

"All I'm going to say is, that has nothing to do with me," he said. "It has everything to do with Kentucky. I'm not in control of any of their decision-making process.

"... I cannot control different things that are out there. It's not my place to say anything or do anything, because that is someone else's decision. That's someone else's issue. That's someone else's decision they've got to make. It's got nothing to do with me at all.

"There's always going to be speculation out there about a lot of different things. But I'm not the decision-maker in the process."

Thoughts???

He seems modest, I think he is going to come, I pray

What if he lets you down, are you guys going to be on the first train out??

I think the only people that can so call "rescue" this program are Billy D and Gillispe.

No but we need someone fast

Great....we will have the UK faithful ("Billy is looking at horse farms in Lexington")....having so much hope in that their supposed savior is coming....and yet they can't recognize that Billy is getting himself a raise.

I'm trying to figure this out, maybe you can help me....What leads you to believe this???

Common sense.

 Yep, I forgot that you were the all knowing one and everyone else was an idiot....Silly me.

BTW, I don't think he comes either, but I think there is a real chance of it.

Outside chance but I don't see it happening.

I would almost bet my house that Billy Donovan will be UK's next coach. I am a pretty heavy gambler though, so who knows - shhhhh....

If I could I would be willing to beat anything he is the next coach...

Yep, UK is his dream job, he has done all he can do in Florida, his superstars are probably leaving, UF is still a football school, 24,000 fans vs. 12,000 fans, yada yada yada...
