Ohio State 85 Tennessee 84

Featured Replies

Buckeyes only needed a half to defeat SEC foe Tenn again.

85-84 final.

Mr.Lofton was a man tonight for the losing SEC team but not even his god like effort could stop the Buckeyes and Ron Lewis.:ylsuper:

How do they not call the foul when hes going to the basket he got rode the whole time? They had called that foul all night.

I wanted the Vols to win but the bucks helped my bracket out.

If the Vols can't finish them after building a 20 point cushion, they can't beat them. They fought them hard twice this year and had a good effort both times. Still glad they're gone, though.

Ask Xavier how they don't call a foul like that......:D

I know they should of never let them back in the game but at the end they should of called a foul i'm sure he would of made at least one of the free throws.

The fact that they ended up winning the game doesn't make them any less terrible than when I posted in the update thread.

Until I die, I'll kick myself for back when I was five years old choosing to follow a school whose teams are such garbage in big games in football and basketball.

I guess a win is a win and at least we don't have to play aTm in a virtual home game but if they continue to play like this they'll get rolled by Memphis.

Buckeyes continue to find ways to win. Im begining to think they are a team of destiny. :D

As much as I hate the Bucks right now, there was absolutely no foul there if you're talikng abou UT's final shot. Conley or whoever it was guarding the shooter actually jumped back when they went up and Oden came out of nowhere to throw it out of bounds.

That's 2 games OSU should have lost, any team this lucky has got to have a shot at the title.

If there was ever an example needed for the phrase:

"Live by the three, die by the three."

No consistent inside scorer, continue to shoot 3's and when you start missing, we all saw the end result.

Easy to say Ohio St has gotten lucky and had breaks go their way. But any/every team that makes a run to the final four, these things happen. With that said, I would love to Memphis in the final four.

It would be Calipari's 2nd trip to the final four, since he took UMass there in 1996.

That's how it usually goes.

OSU is a fraud they have had the benefit of many factors that don't include solid basketball....no matter how far they go, two things will reign supreme...ONE, they will not win the championship, and TWO, this is the end of the run of this very brief time.

Exactly my thoughts on the game.:thumb:
