March 23, 200719 yr I agree with GT. The ball is still "in play" until it hits something out of bounds. It bounced about 2 inches from the sideline (inbounds) and then bounced into the stands. The clock is suppose to stop once it touches the stands or out of bounds. Update: Well, it looks like everyone agrees now.
March 23, 200719 yr I agree. Its not OOB when its over the sideline. It has to touch something. Now, if I'm A&M, I argue that the official blew his whistle before it touched OOB and, thus, 1.1 should not have been taken off the clock. Fair enough...

I have more of a problem with the touch foul that puts Memphis on the line to win the game. That ia always a no call in that situation
