November 14, 200718 yr Again I am not bringing up any khsaa violations. But these kids have not grown up together or are they friends, cousins or neighbors. Now that school is out lets see how many of these so called friends return next year. I know that this has not been a topic on here in a long time but I was going through the archives reading posts and I have to ask, do you seriously think that these kids didn't grow up together, or aren't friends? Of course they are friends, and look and see how many of them returned, all of them, the same way all of them have returned every year since 1st grade. How can they not be friends while being in classes of 10-15 for ten years?
November 14, 200718 yr Trinity won state in 03, give me a name? 05, likewise a name? How about 06? I think you will find that Trinity would (and is) dominant with or without the occasional kid that decides to go to Trinity after not attending a Catholic grade school. The fact is that it isn't the big factor that your trying to make it. FYI, I get your point. I just think you are incorrect. For the record, Tay had 300 yards to Daniel's 200 in that game. They both scored 3 TDs. But Daniel had the longest TD (85 yards). I was just reading through this thread. I really miss LSURock.
November 17, 200718 yr Your missing my point. It is all fine that Trinity gives these kids a good experience. However, my point is that there are plenty of kids that attend, and play football for, Trinity High School that did not grow up in the Catholic School System and have a huge impact on the field. To claim that these players have little impact is ridiculous. On the other note, I think Mcbroom had 320 yds recieving in that game. I know there was only one Mcbroom. I was replying to the claim that Trinity doesn't get huge impact players like Bush. My point is that I have never seen a Trinity team play that didn't have an impact player that had not grown up in the Catholic school system. Curious how many "impact players" were on this year's football team from the public high school in Campbell County that went to Catholic grade schools?? Remember it goes both ways!!

Sounds like a St. Mary's pipeline to the County striker? Sudden decrease in interest from the Camel perspective, once the discussion moved north of Louisville?
