He was Coach at Kentucky State University, he lead The Thorobreds to the conference championship in his first year 2000-2001 and was Pitino's asstiant at UK. He's no longer coaching though. Didn't he get in some heat for physically assaulting one of his players?

March 21, 200719 yr The Michigan option was thought up by Andy Katz. It was pure speculation on his part from the second that it was anounced Amaker was fired. ESPN has run with it ever since Katz thought it up.

March 22, 200719 yr Author The grapevine has it, from a couple of sources, that this time next year, a former UK player and current coach will be sitting in Tubby's coaching chair. If this happens, you can say (as always) you heard it on BGP first. If it doesn't...well then, nevermind. Hmm.....
