March 13, 200719 yr Funny that a reporter in Florida needs to write about the state of KY basketball. Guess UK basketball is still a pretty big ordeal if all he can find to write about in Florida at this time of the year is the basketball program that is situated about 12 hours north.

You are one of many SEC teams who have had excellent runs and then claim to be the new and undisputed king while trashing those who went before you. Comparing UF's accomplishments in basketball and not much unlike UK fans comparing their football accomplishments to UF. Not even in the same league! So enjoy your successes. The Gators deserve to brag as they are the best in the SEC, dare I say the best in the country in hoops right now. When you get to anywhere close to the number of SEC and NCAA titles that the Cats have, then we will talk! Heck, you can't even match our brother UL Cardinal fans for hoops titles! It's the entire thing. But like I said before, every team has obnoxious fans.
March 13, 200719 yr No, it's not just one thing, one action, or one comment. It's an overall air of "up yours" that seems prevelant within the Fla. Athletic program. We (UK)do it, too, but , as everyone seems to be pointing out on here, when they can "walk the walk" and match the decades of success that a handful of teams (Duke, IU, NC, etc.) have had, they are for real and no one can call them on acting like they rule the world. I don't even think that Donovan will be around long enough to build a dynasty. Still think that when the NBA starts throwing $$$$ at him, it will be up to someone else to carry on and I just don't see the level staying there when he's gone. Who, at UK, has been as obnoxious as Noah, over the years, anyway? Some have come close, but I can't think of one as over the top as Noah. The fans, just like fans everywhere, but can't think of a player or Coach. (One comes in real close, but still no contest.)
