March 12, 200719 yr I don't see the point. No matter how big it gets, you'll always have someone crying foul. If it's not the big money crying, more often than not it doesn't matter. We saw the #4 Big 12 and #5 BEast team left out. Trust me on this, it's not going to sit well...
March 12, 200719 yr Syracuse has every right to be highly upset. First time ever a team that finished 10-6 in the Beast didn't get in.
March 12, 200719 yr Author Hasn't taken 'Cuse long to sound off: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/news?slug=ap-ncaa-syracuse&prov=ap&type=lgns Their AD calls it the "shock of the country."

March 12, 200719 yr Don't think that's a fluke with the NCAA now running the NIT. Some serious messages were sent to the "big boys" this year... So please explain then the message sent to Drexel?
March 12, 200719 yr So please explain then the message sent to Drexel? I wish I could. That call was a joke based on what they tell us matters...
March 12, 200719 yr Changes are on the way... What kind of changes? Teams leaving? If so, where are they going?
March 12, 200719 yr So please explain then the message sent to Drexel? Easy. We (NCAA) can make more money with a major conference team (Ark, Stan, Ill) than we can with you regardless of what you accomplished.
March 12, 200719 yr What kind of changes? Teams leaving? If so, where are they going? Tournament expansion...
