Why didn't Jacobs start?

Sick, had a 100+ fever Tuesday.

Not that it mattered though, probably didn't even need to play.

I don't think so. Coach L emptied the bench about 1/2 way through the 4th. Are the subs not supposed to run the offense and Defense? Isn't that the point of putting them in, to get them some game experience?

That's what happened against Beechwood (except it was around halftime, from what I understand) but there were still plenty of sour grapes.

BTW, Billy Schult did the color for tonight game against Conner on the CovCath Internet Radio Network and the young man did a great job. Would have much rather seen him playing on the hardwood, but Billy did a much better job than the announcers that did the Highlands vs Dixie game..... Congrats......

I agree... but i do have to ask....is Luke Maile you game MVP?

11 poimts, 7 rebounds, in limited minutes due to fouls. He gets way too little credit in these types of games.

Gonna be quite a stud the next two years.

Also, why is Holocher in street clothes??

Thought this would be a little closer.

Yeah I was told Todd probably wouldn't even play tonight because he had a 100+ temp. But whats he do goes 5-7 and scores 15.

Holocher is hurt. Also the funny thing about the game is when Hicks would call a play Listerman would look at him to see what play he was calling and then call something. Once again the refree were bad tonight

Does it matter how bad the refs were in a blowout like this??

I sat with 7 officials watching this game and found it to be well officiated.

Now, you will probably reply with a bunch of judgement calls that from the 35th row, you think you had a better angle than the three officials that were 10 feet away from the call

Sophomore Holocher is in street clothes, due to a hand injury suffered earlier in the basketball season. He missed the last couple of weeks of the regular season, and IMO this was a big reason for the CovCath JV not winning the JV Region this year....

Surprised at the final margin.

FWIW....IMO....that seemed a little over dramatic and self serving to me....pushing unsportsmanlike on Listerman's part. Look at the other coach, listen for things you've scouted, then call your defense if you want.

He walked a couple of steps toward the Conner bench...stand and look directly at Hicks so that everyone could be made aware of it; he was one-upping his opposition and it was pathetic...didn't really need that side show, especially when it was obvious he had all the horses on the floor....

I completly disagree! First off I am a Conner fan and alum.

It just showed to me a totally different level of coaching, preparation and organization.

How about Conner quit calling a play everytime down the floor and just let the players play ball, quit micromanaging everything. I do not think their was any doubt to who was the most talented team so, even if Hicks was a prepared as his opponent it probably would not have mattered.
