I regret that UK didn't return the favor and get some meaningless points at the end to see what Thorobred would have said. I recall that we were upset about the classlessness of doing that, whereas he said we were just upset they lost. Looked to me like UK did it right....
March 8, 200719 yr I'm glad we won. Bama has very, very good players. It was a SUPER effort by the Cats. Lucky that Bama was cold early with us. The Jr. class ALL showed up...instead of just one at a time. Perry was good and didn't have to carry the team. (wierd to say that) Meeks is super fast...and should get the ball to draw fouls. Morris gets his 10th Double Doubles this year. (12 career) I still don't like: *Playing on the first day of the SEC Tourney. *Playing for 6-9 seed in the NCAA Bracket. *Fighting to keep from losing 8 SEC games in BACK to BACK years. *Keeping Vandy or Florida from RECORD-SETTING wins against our program.
March 8, 200719 yr I thought we played very well. Today. It was great to see 5 players in double figures. All that is good. But what is really impressive is to outrebound a team like that by 8 or 10 boards. Also, does anyone else think Hendrix reminds them of Jason Parker some?

U.K. fans always far out number any other. The only ones that I can remember coming close to the support was Arkansas when under Nolan Richardson.
March 8, 200719 yr Nice win for the Cats today. When Kentucky gets everyone involved like they did today thery are a tough TEAM. R. Morriss showed up with a "nasty" attitude that he needs to bring to each game. Bradley played the role of an arson , he set fire to all the other Cats. They played off of his emotions on both sides of the ball. Great effort by all the Cats. New game, new season begins tomorrow.

March 8, 200719 yr Also, I forgot to mention, Ramel Bradley's defense was great today! He was smothering the ball. Which without Steele Alabama didnt really have a good option at the point either. Anyways, you can dislike Ramel's decisions from time to time (I sure do), but you cannot fault his effort. He has been playing his tail off!
