Driving from Richmond (Winchester) to Mason is not a cakewalk, bus, car or SUV. Airplane would be best, but no options there.

Relatives,friends of players and the hard core fans will come out for the afternoon sessions(maybe half filled gym). The only time you need worry about a seat will be Sunday and it has gotten to the point of being ridiculous because you have to get there 2 hours early to get a half way decent seat at the finals.

I look for Saturday to be a full house. I know if GRC is playing Saturday I want to see the game before us and I am sure many of the fans will want to see the second game to see who they play. The weak-day sesions will not be full as stated above.

I forgot that Saturdays games are a single session. Yes, I agree it should be a full house with four schools there. I wonder why the first rounds in the tournament are not single sessions.$

Saturday 12:30 and the next game at 3:00. Surely not. There's not enough time to get out and back in. It will take 2 hrs for the first game and 1/2 hour for the next teams to warm up. Highfield , are you sure it's 2 seperate sessions.

Except now you drive a comparable distance as the others. You won't face the problem that Brossart will face until you have to come to NKU for the tournament in a couple of years. THEN you will face the same problem.

Not sure how NKU will be able to host both the 9th and 10th region regional tourneys. Article in the Enquirer said they were interested in hosting the 9th region Girls and Boys tourneys. The 10th have every right to be there also with 3 teams in the same county as NKU but it would have to be a pretty tight schedule even if the Boys and Girls go back to the "no NCAA-tourney at Rupp" spacing. Maybe they could alternate years.

How about a consecutive 9th-10th schedule? Imagine a Saturday with alternating 9th & 10th semis, and a Sunday with back-to-back finals--Pretty good hoops days IMO!!
