Bell had South beat until the big shot by Hammons and only lost by one or two. Bell IMO is the second best in the region, South hands down the best.

Better check your geography there Les.....cumberland is North and East of Corbin....so I guess you will be going UP there.....and there is no need to scream it.

You're half right. Les will be traveling "up" to get to Cumberland. But in the mountains "up" does not mean north. "Up" means upstream, or "up" the river. Cumberland people go "down" to Harlan. Harlan people go "up" to Cumberland. Just thought you would want to know. lol.

In Cumberland The old IGA, Roses, and Colliers Creek is UP THE RIVER. You must take THE NEW ROAD (119) in order to get there. Cumberland is bout due east of Corbin as the crow flies with possibly a northern blow in the wind.

 

I never figured that if we got off topic, it'd consist of all of this stuff. As a Corbin fan, I'd much rather read this than talk about that mess that the Hounds showed tonight though.

I looked for ya but the only time I seen ya, it was when you were down by the floor. We didn't get to the game til about 3 minutes before tip. That traffic was one big ol gom out there.

South has had a few wins here and there but Corbin definately doesn't play second fiddle over time. South will always be good but over the next two or three years, Corbin will be the ones driving the car in the district and South will be riding shot gun. It just goes in spurts.

I didn't watch the game but I listened on the radio. The radio didn"t describe what was happening very well? What went on with Corbin in order for South to get such a led? I really figured that this game would be much, much closer with Corbin maybe winning? The reporters at one point said that there was a medical emergency in the stands? Sounds like there was a lot going on outside the game?
