I saw him play over at Georgrtown in the Classic. I was very impressed with him ,the team and thought they were well coached.:banana:

Todd to NKU: I know he can play there. He knows he can play there. NKU, for some reason, hasn't shown like they think he can play there. Life goes on.

 

This is not the 1st time that NKU hasn't offered a CCH senior who is talented enough to play there. It worked out perfectly for the player the 1st time. Hopefully it'll work out just as well for Todd at TMC.

I wasn't real familiar with the names of boys on the team, but they had a guard that looked very good. I just took for granted that was him. I thought they passed the ball as well as any team I've seen this year and I've sure seen a lot of the top teams play. Well coached!!!!!!

I bet Centre is crushed.

 

Rumor has it they may be getting another pretty good one from NKY, that may soften the blow?? :thumb:

Jake can play at NKU!! Sounds like he's chosen to sacrifice playing at a higher level, to further his educational goals, stay close to his family, and maybe help rebuild something in the process--Lofty goals IMO!!

Todd wants to get into pre-med! He has the grades, the desire, the backing of his family some of which I understand are already in medicine. Why go play at a high profile school to play basketball, if your life ambitions is to be a Doctor..... TJ has made the right decision for himself and his future...... Another CovCath kid who understands the importance of a great education over sports.

 

Sports are for fun, a great education is for life......and I keep on wondering why so many, still think students attend CovCath because of sports.......

 

 

That is great to hear. Strong academics and a very good athlete. Does Thomas More offer any type of financial assistance though. You would think with the strong academic background he would possibly opt for a school that was willing to provide a scholly. I have always heard TM does not give out scholly's. In any event, Todd is a great player to watch and he can shoot the lights out. I wish him the best and hope he can get that program turned around because it seems to be rather awful at this point.

Uebel will probably go somewhere for Soccer. A pretty darn good B-ball player but even better at soccer. That is what I am hearing.

I'd imagine that Todd will be getting plenty of financial aid from Thomas More, considering his grades.

It would be a coup for the new coach to add Bovard and Lenhoff to his haul for next season.

NCAA division III schools are not permitted to offer financial assistance based on ahtletics. They do however offer academic assistance and some "community or leadership" scholarships. These are on a much more limited basis but can still be put together as a helpful package.
