2007 Lynn Camp

The Mitchell kid is a good athlete but I don't think quarterback is his best position. He is a good defensive back and I believe would be a nice reciever.

How does that happen unless there is an address change? I'm hearing he already transferred back???? If his 1st transfer was after BB season, and he's now back, does that mean he would have "moved" residences twice since March? Seems KHSAA would have eligibility issues. Anyone???????

If he's back where he started and didn't play any sports at South Laurel, it will be just as if he never left as far as the KHSAA is concerned.

I'd watch out because Hunter Luttrell JUST transferred last year and was ruled ineligible. Ineligible...without ever transferring back.

I cannot see any logical reason that Mitchell would not be eligible this season.............but you never can be certain.

It's not the same. If he went back to Oldham County, he would have been eligible there last season.

Who are Lynn Camp"s other backs?

Lynn Camp will need to have more production from Sidney Wagner and Kyle Scalf to have a chance at a distict title. Wagner was on the verge of breaking out when he got hurt in the Harlan game. Scalf at 6'4 225+ needs to be more of a force. The return of Michael Hall on the Wildcats O and D line will be a big plus. LC will need strong play from their linebackers after losing both Scott Bray and Justin Gorsuch.

What position do Scalf and Wagner play?

scalf- tight end, wingback, linebacker, d-end. Wagner- Wingback and Corner

Is Hunter playing next year? He played at South Oldham for two years. Very big hitter for his size. I hope he is playing.

Right now, Abner is the QB, Roskopf is the TB in tandem w/Waggner. A couple of talented fr/soph will be in the mix at FB. A couple of players that sat out last year due to fairly extensive injuries will return. As of right now, the biggest question is at Center. Rest of the line looks good, skill players return and Mitchell could be dangerous in a Receiver slot. Look for a much better TEAM this year. Maybe not near as good as '05, but much more imroved in all facets than the '06 disaster.

Who do they open up with?

I don't know who they open up with, but I know they got Campbellsville week #3. Looking forward to it...........

Clay County at Knox Central in the Pioneer Bowl. They play the first game of the double.

What does C'ville have this year? They were really tough the last time we played them. Is the talent level anywhere near what they had in 2000?

Campbellsville is young and athletic. They feature " Tremedous 26 " member Shumari Bridgewater at R.B. He is 6'3 225 and runs a 4.5 fourty. They are young up front but run to the ball in a hurry on defense. Played in district last 4 years with Bardstown, Louisville Holy Cross, Bethlehem, Green Co, K.C.D. C-Ville is on a up swing and should be a fun year.
