Lynn Camp non-district includes, Clay Co, Cumberland, Dayton, Harlan, Hazard, Whitley Co, and Middlesboro. This is a good schedule for LC should get them ready for district, which should be a three team battle for the top spot.

No one can ever say Coach Mitchell pads his schedule to get easy wins. He plays a very challenging schedule each and every year. A true gambler, Mitchell knows in order to win in the post season you must face big, strong teams that will expose weaknesses. He takes the early season games and uses them to improve his team throughout the year. I feel some years this has hurt his team in district play due to some untimely injuries and team morale though. But no one can say David Mitchell is not a warrior. He will put his team on the field against anyone, regardless of their enrollment. Kudos to Coach Mitchell and the football Hitmen.

Coach Wiseman don't play pansies either. Campbellsville's non-district schedule includes Danville, Frankfort, Glasgow and Green Co. All four of these teams will be ranked in the top 5 of the respective class this year.

True. How long has it been since the Eagles made it to the final 8 or the final four? I know Lynn Camp did it a few seasons ago.

IMO when you compare the two schedules (other than Danville) Lynn Camp's looks to be much tougher. What class and type of team is Dayton?

Frankfort and Danville are very strong and Glasgow is traditionally a good football team. I'm curious who the other 3 teams Campbellsville is playing, I would assume one of them being Taylor Co. Dayton is a class a team that plays out of Beechwood's district. LC will be travelling to Dayton

Good to see you again, LC99!!!!!!

Campbellsville Schedule :

Lynn Camp's schedule can't even compare. In all honesty, could be one of the toughest in Class A. I guess we will find out in week #3.

Clay, Harlan, Hazard and Middlesboro. LC

Frankfort, Danville, Glasgow. C'ville

Edge on schedule would go to you due to Danville, but Middlesboro could be close to evening that all up.

Week 3 should be a fun game.

Where do the Eagles and Wildcats play this year?

Campbellsville is young and athletic. They feature " Tremedous 26 " member Shumari Bridgewater at R.B. He is 6'3 225 and runs a 4.5 fourty. They are young up front but run to the ball in a hurry on defense. Played in district last 4 years with Bardstown, Louisville Holy Cross, Bethlehem, Green Co, K.C.D. C-Ville is on a up swing and should be a fun year.

Wow a running back named "Tremedous 26", he sounds big and very fast, I doubt if any of those little Lynn Campers will be able to tackle or even slow down a back like this.

The coaching staff at Campbellsville is VERY respectful of Lynn Camp, as well as the rest of the district. C-Ville has had some good football teams that played in a tough district the last 4 years. ( The toughest in class A according to the stats and data ) But after a rebuilding year like last year ( 2-8 ) the Eagles don't take anyone lightly. So please don't mislable these boys or this team. They have the utmost respect for all the teams on their schedule. To finish 5-5 or 6-4 would be quite an accomplishment for this still young team that will start 4 10th graders and 4 juniors along with 3 talented seniors. ( Only 5 Seniors on the entire roster ) So, sarcasium is not needed, but thanks for the comment.

Just a small amount of sarcasium intented, you know a running back 6'3, 225, who runs a 4.5 forty in high school would be a tough tackle for any high school defense, I watched LC a couple of times and for the most part they are not real big. Anyway good luck in the upcoming season.

This past year's Lynn Camp team was one of the biggest Class A teams I have seen.
