What does Lone Oak need to do to improve in 2007? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

The offensive line needs to improve. Lone Oak went to the passing game because they have a very good QB (Corey Robinson, who is getting some I-A and I-AA interest) and the running game was fairly ineffective because they couldn't get good run-blocking.

The district is winnable, although Lone Oak could have a tough time getting by Calloway County.

LO will be a very dangerous team, Jack seems to recognize their weakness and claims they are working their tails off to improve their linemen. I see them being the district favorite but westie is right about Calloway

Man, Jack Haskins is still coaching? That is impressive. I bet he has been coaching for 60 years or something. Good Luck Lone Oak and Coach Haskins.

Haskins is still coaching, and still coaching well. He's consistently taken over at programs and made them better during his tenure, and he's done the same thing at Lone Oak.

Lone Oak returns 10 starters on offense & 9 starters on defense from a team that should have went 7-3 (5-5 actual record). Robinson is a talented QB & has some talented receivers returning & the offensive line is getting stronger. Lone Oak's downfall will be if they aren't able to run the ball effectively as was the case this past year. Defense will be much improved with Tucker & Edwards (linebackers) leading the way. Lone Oak should emerge as district champs & face either Warren East or Franklin Simpson

Could they be the sleeper team in their new class?

Don't kick a sleeping dog

Lone Oak also picked up a pretty good transfer in the off season. Drey Duncan who was a starter on the line at E-Town the last couple of years has transferred there, as his dad Steve took the Defensive Coordinator job down there. He should help out their line.

Robinson is a GREAT high school QB...The Flash should have a good season!
