I couldn't imagine how upset the natives would be if Highlands lost this game.

Been saying it for years. Come this time of year, the offense goes off the rails.

Its been abysmal since the day his son started calling plays for the Birds.

Good game overall, would of loved to see this at full strength would of been neck and neck.

I should have clarified.. Yes, I was referring to Hayden Sphire who is the OC essentially.

Multiple 3rd and less than a yard tonight and off the top of my head: Pass, Pass, QB run. Not giving Lorenzen or Kremer the ball in those situations is absurd.

Nobody can deny Armstrong’s talent and ability to run.. But we can consistently get 8-10 YPC with the RB’s and have a great quick throw/screen game but we abandon those as the game progresses for deep shots and QB runs.

Worse officiated game I have ever seen and great game by the Birds. I feel dumber having read some of these comments. Bird Coaching staff did a great job keeping the team locked in because it was an absolutely embarrassing game to watch for Scott County and the officiating. Great job by the Birds!

If you think officiating was one sided I’m not sure what to say. You saw what SC deals with week after week at home! We played our brand of football if we should be “embarrassed” then I guess you should too. Chippy on both sides, bad calls for both sides. Sums up every big SC home game in the last 5 or so years minimum.

If you don’t agree that’s fine but saying they did a great job when this was their most penalized game of the year and the head coach got a 15 yard penalty on 4 & inches?

Birds need to clean up some mistakes in all facets if they want to achieve what most expect them to be able to do.
