Featured Replies

Just got the word not to long ago, J.T. Forrest an all district, all area and all state linebacker who started for four years at Raceland has verbally commited to Kentucky Christian University. He joins his fellow teamates Scott Grizzle and Clint Thompson who both are going to KCU. Congrats to these fine young men!

Congrats to another great player and a fine young man from Raceland. Like Grizzle, JT is a player that you can build a defense around.

Congratulations J.T. Your hard work and dedication has paid off.

Very glad to here it. JT, Scott, and Clint all together for another four years. I hope there are some more Raceland players to join them. Congratulations to JT.

Grerat news to hear about J.T.. Congrats again to all that have signed.

Grizzle, Thompson and Forrest from Raceland!! All the years of blood, sweat and tears have paid off. Thank you for your dediction to Raceland Ram Football and best of luck and success at KCU.

Great news for KCU! I am going to have to get season tickets in 2008!

Congrats to J.T. KCU is going to have a great foundation for their football program.

congradulations to all three guys. I guess my early statements have been valid a band of brothers both at Raceland and KCU continues.

Can KCU offer athletic scholarships since they plan to play NAIA?

They do offer scholarships they are just academic and leadership and religious based.

Even non-athletic scholarship schools can help student athletes get additional money for college, that they would otherwise not get. They help them get academic money, alumni money, and grant money. This is not athletic scholarships, but much of this money is dependent on them playing athletics.

Ok thanks.

I would like to challenge BGP members to start a thread on KCU signees and do some research on more players. The last thread became a Kasey Clark for and aganist match. I think we need to get those boys names out there and what they have done. I think the world of Forrest, Grizzle and Thompson but they have a new team with new teammates. I think it would be great to get to know some of the other players. I think those three are just trying to get used to the fact their new colors are going to be red and black hahaha. Anyway we should keep to the thread and not veer off.

Hopefully that will be the least of their concerns. They need to concentrate on getting physically and mentally ready to play college ball. Not worrying about having to wear the colors of their high school rival in college. In a year from now, h.s. football will be the last thing on their minds as they're going through a college off-season program.
