Well the Nationals score 3 in the bottom of the 8th off Antone to make it now 7-1 Washington. Looks we are giving back our sweep of the A’s in the very next series.

Reds fall 7-1 and suffer their straight loss. Next up a 3-game series beginning Tuesday in Chicago vs. the White Sox’s.

1-0 White Sox after 1 inning. Sox lead off the game with the long ball.

Sox 2-0 after 2 full. Another solo HR.

Still 2-0 White Sox after 3.

4-0 Sox after 4. Another solo HR, plus a run scoring double. The Reds remain hitless.

4-1 Sox after 5, Saurez goes solo.

Sox 4-1 after 6.

Still 4-1 White Sox after 7 full.

Reds and White Sox are knotted up 4-4 after 8 complete.

4-4. going to the 10th inning.

Final, Reds win 5-4 in 10.

I thought the giveaway at last night's game was hilarious. The White Sox fans got a "Pope Hat" in honor of Pope Leo XIV who is from Chicago and is a big White Sox follower. You can get one for around $50 on eBay.

I really believe I'll have to pass.

Reds and White Sox, no score after 1.
