When it rains, it pours.  Reds up 9-1 after 5.  Stephenson hit a solo shot, his second HR of the day.

Reds 9-3 after 6 innings.  Greene gives up a single and then # 29 to Goodman.

Reds 9-3 after 7 full.

9-5 after 8,  Goodman now has 3 homers on the day.  Do we hold on?

Pagan gives up a leadoff HR, but the Reds hold on to win 9-6.

Reds trailing 7-0 in the middle of the 8th. Painful watching. Abbott pitched well leaving with a 1-0 score. Then the bullpen happened - allowed 6 runs in the 7th. Suspect defense ignited the Mariners.

That 1 run was unearned at that. Johnson pitches 1/3 of an inning and gives up 4 runs all earned.

I tried to watch it but settled on the WNBA. 

It’s final bow 8-0 Seattle in game 1 of the 3 game series. 

Reds leading 3-1 after 7 innings. 

Mariners get a solo homer in the bottom of the 8th to make it now a 1-run game at 3-2 Reds. 

Reds get an insurance run in the top of the 9th on a solo homer by Lowe to now led 4-2. 

Reds win 4-2. Another great outing by Burns of 5 inning 3-hit ball. That his 11th straight wins and is now 12-1 on the season. 

The Reds win again today 5-3 and have won both series so far after the All-Star break. Next up to close out the road trip is a 3-game series in St. Louis starting Friday evening. So far, the Reds are 4-2 on this road trip.

Reds and Cardinals are scoreless through 3 innings.
