Reds get a run in the top of the 4th on a Stephenson double. It cost the Reds a run as it was a ground rule double. Reds up 1-0.

Well Lowder loses not only his no-hitter but also the shutout and the lead. He had a hit batter and a walk then a two run double to put the Cards up 2-1 after 5 innings. The Cards double stayed in the park and so far that is the difference in the game.

The Reds have runners on 1st and 2nd with no one out in the top of the 6th then have the bases loaded with only 1 out but do not score. 2-1 Cards after 5.5 innings.

Reds currently down 2-1 in a very frustrating game. Reds have scored one run on 7 hits and just left the bases loaded. Cardinals have scored 2 runs on 1 hit, which was a ground rule double to center field. 

2 run homer by Suarez to out the Reds ahead 2-3 in the 7th inning. 

It is still 3-2 Reds after 8 innings. If the Reds hold on this would be a good start to this series and would guarantee a winning 9 game road trip.

Reds get an insurance run after Stewart knocks in Elly who walked stole 2nd (2nd steal of the night) and a wild pitch moved him to 3rd and he walked in on the single by Stewart to left. It is now 4-2 Reds.

Reds win 4-2. The Reds had 11 hits while the Reds pitching held the Cardinals to only 2 hits. Julian Garcia picks up his first major league win. Next up tomorrow at 7:15pm.

Reds trail after 6 innings 7-0. Hunter Green pitched 5 innings of 1 run that was unearned and 2 hit baseball. However in the bottom of the 6th he gave up 6 runs all earned. 

Reds get shutout 7-0 on just 3 hits. This is the 10th time the Reds have been shutout and are tied for the most in the majors. The rubber match and the final game of the 9 game roadtrip is tomorrow with first pitch at 2:15pm. 

In today's game the Reds and Cardinals are tied at 2-2 after 6 innings.
